Overview: This project documents the preparation process of Thus Spoke Ann Arbor’s Spring 2023 production, with a goal to preserve
the shared memories of the community. Originally conceived as a virtual exhibition built on Artsteps, the project was adapted—due to unforeseen circumstances—into a website designed and developed using Wix Studio (formerly EditorX).

Project Description
Titled Behind the Scenes of Secret Love in Peach Blossom Land,
this website features the preparation and staging of Thus Spoke Ann
Arbor’s Spring production. The project emerged from my observation
that the organization lacked sustained connections across generations
of members, which prompts me to preserve this shared, irreproducible
memories of the TSAA community.
The project comprises two interconnected components:
the theatrical production itself and the design and
construction of the website. The site is structured into
five main sections, following a visitor flow originally
conceived for the project’s initial format as a virtual exhibition.
Final Deliverable (The Backup Plan)
After attempting to solve the crash through multiple methods, due to time constraints, I pivoted to a backup solution:
presenting the project as a website. While this outcome differs from the ideal plan, it effectively fulfills the primary goal
of documenting and preserving moments for the TSAA community.
